They describe the policies that a country intends to implement in the context of its request for financial support from the IMF. Memoranda of Economic and Financial Policies are prepared by the member country. They describe the policies that a country intends to implement in the context of its request for financial support from the IMF. Both documents are being made available on the IMF website by agreement with the member country as a service to users of the IMF website.
