Mohamed joined the IMF in 2006 as an economist in the GCC division, where he served for two years. He then spent ten years in the financial sector, first as head of MENA economics at Morgan Stanley and later as head of research at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council. In 2018, he returned to the Fund as a senior financial sector expert in the Global Markets Analysis division. Subsequently, he joined the Iran desk as a senior economist and, in 2024, assumed the role of Resident Representative for Iraq and Yemen. He holds a Ph.D. from the George Washington University.

Bisan Saadeh,

Bisan Saadeh is the Administrative Assistant at the IMF’s Resident Representative Office for Iraq and Yemen in Jordan since Nov 2012. She has won “Divisional Spot Award 2018” from Chris Jarvis, the Division Chief of Bisan Saadeh Division B for providing top notch assistance to the Iraq team in their meetings with the Iraq authorities in Amman. Previously, she has worked as Business Development Coordinator in TECHNO Industrial Group, and Administrative Assistant in Saddle Engineering Technology. Bisan holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Applied Environmental Geology from University of Jordan and a diploma in Information Technology.
