Yongquan Cao is an economist at the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department. Previously, he worked in the IMF’s African Department and Statistics Department. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Indiana University Bloomington and has conducted research on topics including fiscal policy, public debt, aging populations, and inequality.
