Salih Fendoglu is a Senior Financial Sector Expert in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He works in the Global Financial Stability Analysis Division, where he regularly contributes to the thematic chapters of the Global Financial Stability Report. He has also participated in the IMF’s Article IV surveillance and the Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) for Japan. Prior to joining the IMF, he served as an economist at the Central Bank of Türkiye and was a central bank research fellow at the Bank for International Settlements.
