Galen Sher is an Economist in the covering the German economy within the IMF’s European Department. Previously, he worked in the IMF’s Research, Western Hemisphere, and Monetary and Capital Markets Departments, and before that, he was a research economist at the Bank of England. He obtained his PhD from the University of Oxford.
