Benjamin Mosk is a Senior Financial Sector Expert in the Global Markets Analysis Division of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department. He is a lead editor of the IMF’s Global Markets Monitor and an author of the Global Financial Stability Report. He specializes in the role of non-bank financial intermediaries in financial markets, and the impact of artificial intelligence on capital markets. Before joining the IMF, Mr. Mosk held various positions at the European Central Bank, and was a Research Fellow at Stanford University. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Amsterdam, and a Master’s in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. Mr. Mosk is also a CFA charterholder.
