Andreas Tudyka works in the European Department of the IMF, where he is the main desk economist for the Czech Republic. Previously, he held desk appointments for Estonia and Latvia, and worked in the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs and Middle East and Central Asia Departments, where he worked on IMF-supported programs for Afghanistan and Pakistan. He has contributed to multilateral surveillance through several analytical departmental papers. His research interests include fiscal policy, macro-financial linkages, and applied time-series econometrics.
