Welcome to the IMF Speakers’ Bureau

The IMF Speakers’ Bureau welcomes visitors from around the world to IMF Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and offers an opportunity to learn more about the work of the International Monetary Fund. Audiences include university students, legislators, government representatives, business leaders, and other professionals.

The briefings provide an overview of how the IMF works, its mission and mandate. They also provide an opportunity to discuss the Fund’s origins, evolution, role in the global economy, with a special focus on global, regional and country specific economic circumstances. In addition, these briefings provide an opportunity for IMF staff to meet with external audiences, listen and learn from their perspectives.

Briefings at IMF Headquarters

Briefings at IMF Headquarters are designed for groups of 10 or more participants and are typically 90 minutes long and include a “questions and answers” session.

To request a briefing for your group, please complete the Online Form. Please provide as much information as possible, such as size and background of the group, topics of interest, and other relevant information, as well as your address, telephone number, and name of contact person.
