IMF Seminars
April 12, 2014, 3:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
George Washington University, Lisner Auditorium
The 70th anniversary of the Bretton Woods Conference in 2014 offers an opportunity to reflect on the Fund’s past, review some of the key lessons learnt, and—more importantly—look into its future. Taking a long view, the discussion at this session will cover past milestones and the Fund’s responses, but also focus on some of the structural transformations the world is going though, where these transformations might lead, and the Fund's role in this changing and uncertain landscape.
