Invitation for Expression of Interest
Tender for Capacity Building Activities in Collaboration with Universities in Japan and the IMF Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is inviting graduate schools of Japanese universities to express their interests in tender for collaboration in capacity building initiatives undertaken by the IMF Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (OAP).
As part of the IMF’s capacity building efforts, OAP is engaged in sustained capacity building activities, with an aim to enhancing the formulation of policy making for officials from Asia and the Pacific region. These activities are structured and designed to target various levels of officials of government agencies involved in macroeconomic management and relevant fields. Some of the efforts have been already undertaken in collaboration with Japanese universities, and OAP is inviting Japanese graduate schools to express their interests in the tendering of the capacity building activities listed below. The funding comes from the Government of Japan.
Interested universities are invited to submit an expression of interest with the choice of the seminar(s) and/or the scholarship program which they are interested in applying for the tendering of, through completing an online registration form http://www.cvent.com/d/kvqcys by December 5, 2016. OAP will send a package of proposal documents for the relevant seminar(s)/program to interested universities after December 5, 2016.
