Marco Pani is a Senior Economist in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the International Monetary Fund, where he focuses on financial stability issues and the integration of financial stability and macroeconomic analysis. In previous assignments at the IMF, he has worked on low-income countries and fragile states, participating both in bilateral discussions on macroeconomic surveillance and on negotiations of programs involving IMF financial assistance. His interests include financial stability and banking sector issues, public sector governance and corruption, and the political economy. Mr. Pani has a Masters and a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick.
