Naoko Miake is an Economist in the IMF’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. Prior to joining the Fund, she was a health economist at the World Bank. She also worked at J.P. Morgan, the Bank of Japan, Booz & Company and Keio University Department of Medicine. Her research centers on social security policies, especially healthcare and long-term care. She is currently a member of the IMF Article IV Consultation team for Japan.
