Elva Bova is an economist at the IMF. Currently on external assignment since September 2015, she works as senior economist at the Foundation for European Progressive Studies where she conducts research on EU-related issues. At the IMF, she worked in the Fiscal Affairs Department and in the African Department. Prior to joining the Fund in 2010, she obtained her PhD from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
