Christian Mumssen is currently Deputy Director of the IMF’s Finance Department. Since joining the Fund from the EBRD in 1999, he has worked on a range of policy issues and countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In 2012-15, he was Director of the IMF’s Europe Office in Brussels and Senior Resident Representative to the European Union. He holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Oxford and Masters from the London School of Economics.
