Chad Steinberg is Deputy Division Chief in the Lending Policy Division of the IMF’s Strategy, Policy, and Review Department. Since joining the IMF in 2002, he has worked on a wide range of countries and policy issues, including most recently the IMF’s efforts to strengthen the global financial safety net. From 2008-12, he was a representative in the IMF’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in Tokyo. He has a PhD from Harvard University.
