Press Release: The IMF Executive Board Approves Post Program Monitoring for Individual Member Countries

Following the revised framework for Post-Program Monitoring (PPM) adopted by the Executive Board on March 14, 2005 (see Extension of Post-Program Monitoring to Cover the Use of PRGF Resources), the IMF Executive Board has agreed that Brazil, Indonesia, Jordan, and the Philippines would have PPM (see Post-Program Monitoring-Proposed Decision on Countries). In the case of the Philippines, this expectation applies through April 30, 2006.
