Xispito Argentina - inflation rate
It is ridiculous that IMF considers 9% inflation rate for Argentina...

Everybody knows that those data is manipulated, as inflation rate in Argentina is above 20%.

I would ask you guys from IMF to do a more serious approach about Argentina inflation, in order to better reflect reality.

Thank you for your comment, which we have passed on to the relevant country team. We would also draw your attention to the reference in the WEO, page 83 (http://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/weo/2008/01/pdf/c2.pdf), where it is noted that "in Argentina, although measured inflation has fallen, most private sector analysts believe that actual inflation is considerably higher than reflected in official data."
