An International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff team, led by Hans Weisfeld, visited Lomé during March 17 - March 28 to discuss macroeconomic developments and policies. This visit took place in the context of the second review of the Extended Credit Facility (ECF)-arrangement that the IMF has been providing to Togo since March 2024.

IMF Executive Board Completes the First Review under the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) Arrangement for Togo
The IMF Executive Board completed today the first review under the ECF-arrangement for Togo, allowing the authorities to draw the equivalent of about US$57.4 million (SDR 44.0 million). The Executive Board approved the 42-month ECF-arrangement in March 2024.

Benin: IMF Executive Board Completes Fifth Reviews of Extended Fund and Extended Credit Facilities and Second Review of Resilience and Sustainability Facility
The IMF Executive Board today completed the Fifth Review of Benin’s Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) and the Second Review under the Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF). The decision allows for an immediate disbursement of about US$80 million.

IMF Executive Board Completes the Seventh Review under the Extended Credit Facility Arrangement for Guinea-Bissau and Approves US$7.1 Million Disbursement
Washington, DC – December 16, 2024 : The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) completed today the seventh review under Guinea-Bissau’s Extended Credit Facility (ECF) arrangement. The three-year arrangement, approved on January 30, 2023, aims to secure debt sustainability, improve governance, and reduce corruption while creating fiscal space for inclusive growth. The Executive Board granted an augmentation of access (140 percent of quota or SDR 39.76 million) on November 29, 2023.

IMF Reaches Staff-Level Agreement on the First Review of the Extended Credit Facility with Togo
An International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff team, led by Hans Weisfeld and comprising John-Paul Fanning, Maximilien Kaffo, Sassire Napo, Grace Li, and Etienne Vaccaro-Grange, conducted a mission to Lome during October 7 - October 18 as part of the first review of the authorities’ economic program supported by the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) arrangement of SDR 293.60 million (about US$ 390 million).
IMF has reached staff-level agreement with Benin on the Fifth Review of Benin’s EFF/ECF and the Second Review of the Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF).
