Course Description
This course highlights the macroeconomic implications of gender inequality and provides an overview of policy measures to help empower women. The training discusses trends over time and across countries in gender inequality, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic; stresses the importance of closing gender gaps for inclusive and sustainable growth; and analyzes policy options in the fiscal, labor, financial, and legal areas to help address gender inequality.
Course Objectives
The goal of the course is to help participants apply the knowledge and skills they will acquire (through a mix of lectures, workshops, and group presentations) to analyze the key gender-related challenges in their own country and formulate prioritized reform programs.
