Course Description

Today IT-driven planning, budgeting, procurement, accounting, auditing, and other reforms  in the field of digitization are often unmoored from the policies a government wants to implement. These reforms too are often siloed from each other, as well as from other government IT systems in digitization that are planned and implemented. As Governments move towards greater digitization to overcome these constraints finance ministries will need to adapt their ways of working and significant supply-side investment will be needed at the national and global levels to create a more vibrant, competitive ecosystem of technology firms and technical assistance partners working on digitalization and PFM reform, to bring public finance into the digital era. The course/seminar attempts  to fill these critical skills gaps in finance ministries, especially in digital specialisms such as product management and design.
