Target Audience
This training is intended for officials involved in digitalization projects or processes in your institutions, such as the deployment of Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) or digitalization of payments and government services. Hence, officers may be preferred during the nomination process.
Qualifications
No formal qualification but officials with exposure to digitalization projects will be preferred.
Course Description
The key objectives of this course include understanding progress on the digitalization of PFM in the region, with a view to sensitizing participants to the impact of emerging technologies on PFM and e-Government. The course will also look at developments elsewhere in the world and facilitate peer learning through experience sharing. The challenges that digitalization bring will also be examined. The course will be delivered through a combination of lectures, exercises, and country presentations covering both the conceptual and practical aspects of digitalization of PFM and linkages with wider e-Government reforms.
