Yiqun Wu is an Economist in the IMF's Strategy, Policy, and Review Department, working on strategic issues for Fund resources and governance as well as the international monetary system. His previous assignments included economic surveillance and IMF lending programs on a variety of emerging market and low-income economies in Asia-Pacific and Africa. His experience also included regional issues in Asia and the Pacific. Mr. Wu holds a PhD in Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His research and publications cover a wide range of topics in international macroeconomics, trade, and growth.
