Laurent Kemoe

Laurent Kemoe is an economist in the African Department at the International Monetary Fund. Since joining the Fund in 2017, he has worked in the Statistics Department and European Department, covering France and Belgium. Prior to joining the Fund, he was a consultant in the Office of the Chief Economist—Africa Region at the World Bank. His research interests include international finance, macroeconomics, macro-econometrics, and climate change. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Montreal.
