Jacques Charaoui is a senior economist at the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF. He was the public financial management (PFM) advisor at the IMF Middle East Technical Assistance Center in Beirut, Lebanon, between 2011 and 2016. He has an extensive experience in PFM in the MENA region, and has been providing technical assistance on various topics including: policy advice, governance, fiscal risks, and hands on support and implementation on all PFM related matters. Mr. Charaoui holds an Engineering Degree from the École Supérieur d’Ingénieurs de Beyrouth, Lebanon and a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Ecole Superieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales - ESSEC Business School, Paris France.
