Simon Gray has been Division Chief in the Technical Assistance Division of the IMF's Monetary and Capital Markets Department (MCM) since 2015, prior to which he was a Lead Financial Sector Expert in MCM, working on central bank monetary policy implementation and foreign exchange operations issues. He has worked at the IMF since 2007, after a 27-year career at the Bank of England. He has been involved in a range of IMF activities including several Financial Sector Assessment Program teams including the United States and China as well as providing technical assistance in a range of countries. Mr. Gray graduated from Oxford University.
