IMF Executive Board Informally Discusses Argentina

"The Executive Board, which just returned from summer recess, met informally today to discuss the Argentina situation and options," said Thomas C. Dawson, Director of External Relations at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). "I have nothing further to add on the Board discussions. The IMF is continuing to work with the Argentine authorities on a program that will help Argentina return to sustainable economic growth."
