Natalia T. Tamirisa
Natalia Tamirisa is Assistant to the Director of the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund, where she works on issues related to the assessment of systemic risks for the global economy and financial system and early warning exercises. During her career at the IMF, she has worked on a broad range of topics in international economic policy and a diverse set of countries. Her research interests include the economics of international capital flows and financial crises. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Hawaii and M.S. in aerospace economics and management from the Moscow Aviation Institute.
