Luc Everaert is chief of the Regional Studies Division in the European Department of the International Monetary Fund. Prior to this position he worked on advanced industrial countries (France, Belgium, Netherlands) and transition economies in Central and Eastern Europe. Current research interests include Economic Growth, in particular the role of financial markets, tax policy, and product and labor market reforms.
