The Civic & Community Relations programs guide the IMF's humanitarian outreach to our community.

We strive to help our neighbors in greater Washington and around the world to emerge permanently from poverty and crisis by providing donations, volunteering, and supporting community initiatives. This is in harmony with the IMF’s overarching mission to foster the economic well being of people in its member countries.

IMF Civic Program funds are for humanitarian purposes only and are separate from the IMF's financial support for member countries and policy programs.
